Our Data Science team focuses on delivering expert data implementation and integration projects as well as data analysis to inform and optimise online marketing activities, enabling optimal return of investment for our respective clients as well as support their digital transformation programmes.

Before any analysis/ data science can happen, data must be collected. The role of the Architect is to ensure that website tracking is available, whilst ensuring that the data is structurally sound and ready for analysis. This not only requires a high level of communication with clients and the wider team but also a strong sense of research/adaptation in an ever-changing industry. The ideal candidate should be up to date with the latest changes within website analytics – such as the implications of GDPR and the latest version of Google Analytics.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Management and operational ownership of analytics accounts for lead-generation and ecommerce sites.
  • Creating developer specifications for data layer implementations.
  • Setting up Google Analytics tracking using Google Tag manager alongside validation.
  • Support with Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 migrations.
  • Cookie Management Platform control set up and configuration in GTM (One Trust, Cookie Bot).
  • Third-party GTM configurations such as PPC, Facebook or affiliate tracking.
  • Making recommendations on improving client performance.
  • Liaising with internal teams within twentysix digital.
  • Regular R&D (with opportunities for innovation and further training e.g. Google Cloud projects using Bigquery or Support on Server-side tagging.).

WHAT WE NEED

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years using Google Marketing Platform (especially Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
  • Minimum 1-2 years in JavaScript (especially within Google Tag Manager the dataLayer).
  • Research-led, adaptable and passionate about learning.

 Desirable

Any experience in the following:

  • Google Analytics 4.
  • Cookie Management Platforms (e.g. Cookiebot or OneTrust).
  • Google Optimise.
  • Channel based attribution modelling.
  • Offline-Online CRM integrations.
  • Any API experience in any coding language (especially around Google Analytics or weather data).
  • Server-side Tagging.
