We are looking for a Head of Digital PR & that will have overall operational and client performance responsibility overseeing the Digital PR service within the media department.

The primary focus will be leading the team and proposition driving growth for our clients – focusing on ideas that create cut-through and results that benefit our clients across all channels. – with the primary focus being link acquisition in SEO.

We believe that PR has a key role to play for our client’s marketing success and the role will encourage and exciting, innovative and passionate individual to bring their experience and reputation to benefit the development of the team and our clients.

Your time will be spent between leading the team and helping shape strategies for our key clients You will also work alongside our insight and planning team to help shape creative proposals that resonate with audiences and enable our studio to deliver award winning campaign assets.

You will assume a key role within out media team, sitting at department operations level and look to integrate Digital PR throughout the agency, across media and design functions. You will propose positive solutions and actively seek opportunities to grow and develop the department.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Oversee and lead the PR strategy, specifically focusing on creating the best ideas and plans possible to ensure success across integrated channels – with an alignment to SEO strategy.
  • Ensure that the PR process is as agile as possible and empower the team to be creative and to build networks for outreach – giving us a source of competitive advantage.
  • Research, develop and test new tools to improve our service
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies
  • Identifying and developing new offerings that will help grow the business and expand the service offering.
  • Providing marketing communications training to internal teams and clients, where required.
  • Key involvement in sales & marketing initiatives, development of thought leadership, case studies & award entries. Help with client storytelling.
  • Line management and mentoring of the department’s senior practitioners.
  • Create a network across relevant business units, departments and MSQ agencies

 

 

 

WHAT WE NEED

Knowledge, Technology & Qualifications:     

  • Knowledge and experience of PR and social insight & delivery tools
  • The ability to curate incredible press releases
  • Relevant qualifications & experience

 

Skills or Competences

  • Significant experience within a Digital PR environment
  • A strong portfolio of work – demonstrating an ability to lead from the front & award-winning work
  • Experience of managing a team and leading people – to bring the best out of them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills
  • Experience conducting ideation sessions
  • Presentation & storytelling skills as well as commercial proposal building
