We are looking for an Account Director to join client services in the Digital Experience team. This is a senior client management position accountable for client relationships, development and revenues. The main focus of this role will be working with clients on digital transformation / web build projects so previous experience of this is essential.

What you'll be doing

 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Build, grow and retain client relationships at senior levels
  • Understand their business and generating new ideas to enhance performance
  • Build trust, credibility and client referrals
  • Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships
  • Assist the CSD in achieving client targets/KPIs within the context of the opportunity

 

STRATEGIC ACCOUNT PLANNING

  • Categorising clients appropriately to identify growth, retention and profitability focus across all teams
  • Proactive, strategic and innovative input into client key account plans (KAPs)
  • Effective cross selling between the agency divisions
  • Preparing and pitching new ideas
  • Optimising the client relationship at all levels across all disciplines.

 

COMMERCIAL OBJECTIVES

  • Maintain or improve account profitability
  • Effective maximisation of client budgets
  • Effective and efficient forecasting of client spend
  • Strong commercial management of accounts

 

TEAM

  • Effectively support the Client Services team, line managing and mentoring where required
  • Assist in the training and development of more junior team members
  • Foster a teamwork and collaborative working environment
  • Provide team and individual leadership, aligned to company values that rewards productivity and results
  • Execute performance reviews where necessary

 

AGENCY

  • To support the agency in its delivery of ISO27001, including where applicable additional responsibilities for ISO asset owners (informed separately)
  • To support the new business team in pitches, tenders and proposals
  • To support with delivery of change through new agile ways of working

 

What you need

Skills or competences:

 

  •      Full digital marketing knowledge and extensive digital transformation / web build project experience
  • Good understanding of reporting platforms
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development
  • Demonstrated experience of working across full media landscape
  • Experience of presenting at C-Suite level
