We are looking for a Head of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) who will be responsible for development and growth of 26’s CRO function and adoption across the agency. You will be an enthusiastic champion of all aspects of CRO throughout the business, providing strategic vision as well as delivering innovative work.

Your primary goal is to improve conversion rates on our clients websites and apps, with a data driven approach to testing. You will lead the development of A/B testing strategies, building site versions, statistical analysis and optimization using a variety of industry leading tools, while ensuring all learnings are effectively shared across the organization. Your systematic approach will drive results and add value to our clients. You will leverage expertise across data and experience design teams and work together with relevant client stakeholders in order to maximise conversions.

Initially the role will be a standalone role, but we intend to scale and grow our CRO proposition, and you will play a key role, with the support of Data Science and Experience Design teams to do this over the next 18 months.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Improving and optimizing conversion for clients- from data-driven ideation, execution, reporting and analysis.
  • Running A/B testing, developing hypotheses and recommendations for site improvements based on qualitative and quantitative analysis/research.
  • Reporting results, findings, learnings and ideas to stakeholders and marketing managers involved.
  • Providing ongoing recommendations to help clients deliver on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements.
  • Promoting and encouraging continuous testing and optimization within the organization. Working especially closely with our experience design team to grow our experimentation proposition.
  • Sharing knowledge through regular updates and documenting learnings to benefit the wider organization.
  • Constantly researching and evolving the CRO software / toolset and methods to drive efficiency and results.
  • Providing thought leadership on CRO, continuously pushing boundaries with new and innovative approaches.
  • Help build a culture of experimentation within 26 & client orgs

 

 

What you need

Knowledge, technology and qualifications:

  • Essential: Bachelor degree with at least 50% numerical content.
  • substantial experience either in house or agency side designing, executing and reporting on CRO performance.
  • Experience implementing A/B testing (including multivariate and multi-armed bandit tests) and personalisation
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of a number of testing platforms (such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO or Adobe Target)
  • Knowledge of the impact of privacy legislation on experimentation.

 

Skills or competences:

  • Ability to use analytics, customer experience data and qualitative research to drive experimentation strategies and deliver conversion rate improvements and commercial gain.
  • Able to work with and sell innovative ideas to clients in a confident manner.
  • Ability to quality assure CRO campaigns of junior team members to ensure standard and timeliness of outputs.
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively in written and oral format
