We are looking for Sales Ledger Assistant who is an organised individual, able to work proactively and well under pressure, producing timely and accurate work within tight deadlines. You should be a keen and self-motivated with good communication skills and a methodical approach to work.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Monthly Billing and liaising with Client Services to resolve any billing matters in a timely and accurate manner
  • Full responsibility for revenue reconciliations for all teams
  • Full responsibility of reconciling the accrued and deferred income control accounts for the business.
  • Weekly Reporting of debtor’s to SLT (Senior Leadership Team) with supporting commentary on Aged Debt.
  • Assist Transaction Manager with chasing debtors and maintaining relationships with client contacts.
  • Support on the bi-weekly cash flow forecast by plotting expected client payments.
  • Work with the Revenue Accountant to ensure correct revenue recognition and liaising with client services and Operations in relation to this.
  • Monthly update of KPI sheet
  • Credit Control for the business and working with reported cash targets
  • Management Reports for the Crown Commercial Services (MI reporting system) for all current frameworks and then uploading within the external deadlines
  • Work closely with client services team to assist with billing, debtors, and reporting
  • Set up of new clients including credit checks and insurance where required
  • Maintain credit insurance limits and reporting where necessary
  • To support the agency in its delivery of ISO27001, including where applicable additional responsibilities for ISO asset owners (informed separately)
  • Actively look to improve the process of billing clients by reducing scope for error and increasing efficiency.
  • Work with Paprika support team to utilise Paprika i2 to full capacity.

 

What we need

 

Skills/experience:  AAT Qualified or Studying Towards Level 4.Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role. Experience of sales ledger and credit control essential if you have worked in an agency that would be an advantage. Demonstrated attention to detail and being able to deal with all stakeholders.

Key Attributes:  Methodical and organised. Ability to demonstrate high performance behaviours including influence, empathy, people development and team building.  Ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively.  Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity in relation to interacting with individuals (both internal & external) at all levels. 

Technology: Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Email and Internet.

Systems: Experience of Paprika is an advantage though not essential as training will be given.
Proficient use of Excel to a good standard is essential. Abide by agency security requirements – ISO27001.
