Description

twentysix is a leading digital agency that develops digital platforms and marketing that drives business change and performance. Connected by data, insight and strategy, we specialise in user experience (UX), development and performance marketing.

We have over 150 digital specialists working with us across Leeds and London, and our clients include the likes of Arla, P&G, Fortnum & Mason and Corinthia Hotels, to name a few.

We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to provide end-to-end ‘hands-on’ project management of both small and large-scale projects throughout their life cycle; From initial scoping phase, through planning, estimating and budgeting, scheduling, design and development and full implementation. You will oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of your projects, ensuring that we deliver, as a team, quality projects on time, on budget and brief along side managing resource planning and raising any issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Project Management of web projects working side-by-side with the Account Handlers to manage delivery of agreed objectives
  • Examine, investigate and propose ways of working to ensure timely delivery of projects. Evaluate, monitor and manage risks, issues and changes, escalating as appropriate
  • Scope digital projects with clients; Understanding their individual requirements and creating accurate documentation
  • Deliver operational excellence; With the ability to anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks, and manage to change business and technical requirements by effectively suggesting solutions or contingency plans at the appropriate stage of projects
  • Be authoritative and efficient; Ability to direct and lead others with guidance and have tough conversations with our team and our clients, where appropriate
  • Be analytical with great attention to detail; Ensuring consistent improvement in the quality of our output
  • Expert at own time management and setting own and others work goals
  • Actively seek out relevant lessons learnt from similar projects to ensure the project team learns from previous experiences
  • Producing appropriate documentation in support of digital projects including project and resourcing plans, risk and issue logs, functional specifications, and regular project / client and budget reports
  • Confident working alongside the technical team to specify and document new functional solutions
  • Curation of the specification document for each project, ensuring that the correct specialists feed into the solution for the project
  • Understanding of the technical skills required to deliver web project, and booking the right people to deliver the skills required at each stage of a project, liaising with the Heads of department where appropriate to facilitate this.
  • Complete understanding, control and associated reporting of projects, their current status, their requirements and deadlines
  • Understanding of the current workload across the Production department to ensure work is shared out in an efficient manner
  • Resolution of any conflicts regarding timings, resource and deliverables on projects
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of web standards; Usability, compatibility issues, accessibility constraints and opportunities within the industry and the ability to draw on expertise to continually improve in this area
  • Demonstrates the ability to make things happen and is focused on the project / programme delivery.
  • Builds a climate of trust with project or programme teams and all other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates an approach to deadlines and stressful situations that is characterised by commitment, control, motivation and energy

 

WHAT WE NEED

 

Skills/experience:           Hands on experience of managing projects of over £200k in a digital environment, including digital experience, website projects, ongoing maintenance, online tools, apps, digital advertising, email campaigns, video and animation. Experience with agile ways of working, and cross functional teams

 

Key Attributes:                Be able to work under pressure and be methodical in your approach to your work. Be able to demonstrate tact, discretion and maturity while supporting the twentysix team.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of project management approaches and methods, and an ability to select and modify techniques appropriately to working requirements

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of leading technologies and products - both web and application.

 

Technology:                      High level of competence using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word and Excel in particular. Confident with Jira and Confluence and able to report and use to a very competent level.

                                          Delivered creative projects using a CMS solution like Umbraco or Optimizely (Not essential)
