WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Drive technical SEO strategy and execution for clients – working with client services and wider agency to ensure our clients are clearly able to understand and articulate the value of the work.
- Create roadmaps and business cases using available templates – but also demonstrating an understanding of business objectives and the role that SEO plays in marketing.
- Measure and analyse the success of our recommendations.
- Bring a degree of creativity and agility to projects and client interactions.
- To use a variety of proprietorial and third-party tools to compile and draw insight from both company-specific, sector-specific and generic industry data, in order to better understand user trends and behaviour and add context to the performance on each account
- Presenting to clients and key stakeholders – being able to articulate our recommendations to non-SEO specialists is important.
- Keep pace with the industry and utilise this knowledge for your clients and contribute to agency-wide thought leadership and marketing.
- Be a leading voice within the SEO team and Media department for the value of technical SEO
- Work with the development team to support website builds which recognise the value of SEO at discovery phase.
- Mentor for members of your team providing knowledge and support
- To support the agency in its delivery of ISO27001, including where applicable additional responsibilities for ISO asset owners (informed separately)
WHAT WE NEED
Skills/experience: Extensive technical SEO experience. International SEO experience is desirable as we work with global clients.
Key Attributes: Ability to demonstrate high performance behaviours including influence, empathy, people development and team building. Ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively. Ability to select, develop and motivate staff. Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity in relation to interacting with people at all levels. Ability to deliver true consumer insight at the highest level of planning.
Technology: Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Email and Internet and SEO tools. Fully proficient in Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Experience with data visualisation tools will be a benefit.
